About
Alf is a freelance drummer based in the UK with over 10 years of playing experience. During this time he has developed his style through multiple studio and live performances. He graduated from The Academy Of Contemporary Music in 2020 with a distinction in his Level 3 Extended Diploma and is also DBS certified.
Session
He has worked in a wide variety of live and studio environments and also offers remote recording sessions projects from his private studio in Berkshire. He has studied and performed many different genres including Jazz, Rock, Metal, R&B, Funk, Blues and Pop.
Teaching
Alf has studied Rockschool grades 1-8 and has several years teaching experience at all levels. Students are offered a program tailored to their own goals, from working through grade exams to developing chops and learning to play to a click/ backing track.
Composition
He has been composing music since his professional career began. He has experience writing in a band environment as well as to a brief. From his studies at college he has expanded his writing abilities further. This has allowed him to write in different genres inucluding Pop, Funk, Jazz, Metal and Rock.
